BORACAY ISLAND: The Bantay Boracay Task Force, marking March 1 as the start of the peak season in this resort island, is now busy preparing for the arrival of tourists who usually come for their Holy Week and summer vacation, reported the Philippine News Agency.
Nieven Maquirang, Caticlan Port administrator and a member of the task force, said that starting March 1, the Land Transportation Office will be implementing a traffic rerouting plan for all types of vehicles bound for Caticlan Jetty Port—the gateway of this resort island. > > > [ full story ]
