MALAY, Aklan — The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) of Aklan is trying to resolve the impasse on the controversial P50 environmental fee charged on non-Aklanon tourists at the Caticlan jetty port.
SP member Plaridel Morania said a special joint session with the Malay Sangguniang Bayan (SB) is slated on Feb. 22 in the island of Boracay to resolve the environmental entrance fee issue. > > > [ full story ]
